Frequently Asked Questions

Circles Rising is for women, non binary, and Femme identifying people, looking for authentic connection, meaningful community, and a space to be seen, heard, and supported as they grow.

Circles Rising currently meets on Wednesdays in North Berkeley, CA.

Yes! Trans women are women. Full Stop.

While Life coaching is a 1:1 experience,  Women's Circles are small interconnected groups. Unlike individual coaching, circles emphasize shared wisdom, collective accountability, and community building. In our circles, participants gather regularly to support each other’s personal growth under the guidance of a trained facilitator.  This format fosters deeper connection, allowing participants to learn not only from the coach but also from each other.

Each session is different, but the basic format is composed of: a brief opening ritual,  time for check in's, sharing and listening, laughter (and sometimes tears) a break at the midpoint, instruction and facilitated exercises, reflection and writing, and a simple closing ritual. Participants are encouraged to attend to their own needs throughout.

Circles Rising is designed to fit busy schedules. Circles meet weekly for 120 minutes per session, with the full program running for 13 weeks. In between meetings, participants are encouraged to engage in light reflection or journaling.

Absolutely. Circle’s Rising welcomes all experience levels. Whether you're exploring self-development for the first time or deepening an existing practice, our inclusive environment is structured to honor individual pacing and needs.

Yes. Every circle operates under shared agreements that prioritize psychological safety, respect, and confidentiality. We co-create a space where open expression is encouraged without fear of judgment.

Circles Rising is for you, if you want to:

  • Experience ease when connecting with other women
  • Find support through life's transitions
  • Build your confidence as a leader
  • Improve your communication skills in all relationships
  • Grow your community
  • Be nourished by a powerful group of women
  • Create more joy in your life!

Participants may miss up to two sessions during the Circles Rising program.

Circles Rising is  a sacred learning container, designed with each session building upon the last. Because this is an in-person program, your presence matters; not only for your own learning and growth, but for the trust, connection and cohesion of the group as a whole.

For this reason, we ask participants to join only if they can make a wholehearted commitment to attending the full duration of the course.  If you already know that you will miss more than two sessions, we kindly ask that you wait and enroll in a future cohort when you can fully participate.

No. Circles Rising is an experiential course, with exercises designed for live participation. Due to the nature of the program, a missed session cannot be made up.

No. Our groups are balanced and have very limited spaces to keep our cohorts intimate. Once the registration period has ended, the circle is closed.  Your participation is critical to the group experience, so if you sign up please be ready to  show up.
